Police investigate body found in river in northeast Harris CountyPolice responded to reports of a body floating inside a river at 100 Commons Lake Drive around 6 p.m. in Huffman.----------HPD released this statement regarding the incident:Houston police are awaiting autopsy results in the death of a male found at 102 Commons Lake Drive about 5 p.m. on 4/29/16.The identity of the male is pending verification by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.HPD Homicide Division Officers K. Fregia and C. Sharp reported:Officers with the HPD Marine Patrol Unit were advised of a body floating in the east fork of the San Jacinto River at the above address.
