Trapper Keeper

So, which ones really hold up? I was thinking of getting one for my son, his notebook has had it and I know he will need one for next year. I thought I would give it to him for Valentines Day.

If so, the ones we have had (the binders that zip all the way closed, right?) tore up pretty quickly. They'd probably be okay when not overstuffed...my kids' binders seem to have always been (and still are) stuffed to the gills since the start of middle school. Emoticon

I just buy the Avery 3" or 4" plastic binders in bulk on Amazon (like a quarter of the price there vs. Office Depot...the only place you can find that size around here) at the start of every school year. Then when they start to break, they just grab a new one. Mine probably go through 2 to 3/year.

I second the Avery binders they hold up pretty well and have different sizes and pockets not too expensive and the store always has them Emoticon

I bought my son like his 15th one at target. It's only a 2 inch velcro close and so far it's held up much better than the $25 zippered one from office depot. The one at target was $12.
