Johnny Manziel's time with the Cleveland Browns will come to an end in March, according to a league source.

The Browns released a statement from new director of football operations Sashi Brown on Tuesday that expressed disappointment in Manziel but stopped short of saying the quarterback's run in Cleveland is over.

@Fairlane67 I feel confident with that too. No one is stupid enough to bring JM to their team.......except Jerrah.

@LivingLife

Lead article on MSN this PM says that he will never be signed by Dallas. According to the article, Jerrah is the only one who wants him. Garrett, the Executive V.P. (Jerrah's son) and the assistant director of player personnel are dead set against him. Claim that someone with that much off the field baggage needs to have SOME on field ability. JM has not much on field ability in Cleveland.

Maybe Jerrah can sign him to serve drinks in his football suite.

I sincerely hope Johnny figures his ish out before it's too late. I'm so sad for this road he's determined to follow. So many kids do this same thing.

Same topic , same personality, different person. Whatever happened to McMahon ( may be spelling wrong) of the Chicago Bears in the early 80's?

He is a very talented football player. I don't like to talk bad about him just because he has made some very questionable decisions. How many of us have made some very questionable decisions in our lifetime? Granted, our lives are not played out in front of the whole world.

I hope the right people are put in his path & he listens to them, so he can turn his life around and either be the player he is meant to be or HE picks something else to do & does it well.

Probably some truth to this. Leaked as a professional courtesy to allow other organizations to think about it. Will take a strong coach and front office to get him on the right path. Lots of talent there for someone to invest the time and energy.

I remember on this site, that someone complained about the Texans not drafting Johnny the Jerk, and that person said he was going to
Cleveland and see Johnny beat the Texans. I would be surprised if any other team will offer for him to join their team and pay him the remainder of his contract. Johnny football needs to grow and stop being "Johnny the Jerk". Wasted talent, just grow up.
