Pizza Hut

Yum Brands has agreed to sell Pizza Hut in two deals worth $2.7 billion to streamline its portfolio and focus on faster-growing chains. Private equity firm LongRange Capital will acquire most global operations for $1.5 billion, while Yum China will purchase the mainland China business for $1.2 billion.

They paid $2.7 Billion too much. 🤫

@brightlights : Pizza Hut's heyday was in the 70's. It made college bearable some days….

@Smokeybear : Oh, my gosh yes ... that was the place to be after every high school football game. No better pizza around. Didn't matter that we rarely won ... that pizza was awesome!! (We always congregated at the one close to Gulf Gate Mall)

Can't even remember the last time I was in a Pizza Hut. There are several good tasting frozen pizzas that are better than theirs. (At a fraction of the cost).

@eighteen : I heard that earlier. Lots of great memories associated with the Pizza Hut of long ago.
