Clearly these young ladies did not have the experience or knowledge and it cost them their lives. In reviewing the video, it seems they could have at a minimum, "limped on down the SHOULDER on the rim,", or pulled way off the the right, beyond the edge of the shoulder 2-3 feet from driving lanes to call/wait for assistance.Very sad outcome.

I was thinking the same thing about their knowledge of road survival. You would be amazed on how many people do not have the knowledge on changing tires or even using jumping cables to jump a stalled vehicle.
