Great advice. I know I will not want to leave the house and if the power goes off, no TV and Netflix!! A good book with a warm fire in the fireplace sounds perfect.
Are you a misplaced Yankee?
We're the only ones I know that get in the pool between November and April.

As long as you stay under the water, it's fine. But I have to imagine they were heated pools anyway.
No. We will be closed for MLK on Monday.
As of a few years ago, if we're closed on a Friday, or a Monday, for a holiday, they close us on Saturday too.
We are slated to re-open Tuesday at normal times, but honestly, looking at the weather report, I wouldn't hold my breath.

Cbear: you'd be anazed. That's part of the reason they shut us down for weather, because if we're open, people will come. They figure if we're open, it's safe to drive to us
If you build it, they will come. I think it was from Field of Dreams.
The day before Harvey was a Friday, and we don't open until 1pm on Fridays. We had no intentions of being closed that day, but the rain and the winds kicked up pretty good, and at like 12:30, they told us all we weren't opening.
I can't tell you how many people were already out there, waiting for us to open, with the winds whipping around, and the water just pouring out of the sky. And no, these weren't "just running in to pick up holds" people. They were coming for the afternoon.
I ended up having to wait with one of the kids who had ridden his bike up, because the bike broke on the way there, and he had no way to get back to his house, other then walking a few miles through the rain. Humble PD was nice enough to come pick him and his broken bike up and take him home.
