What's For Dinner Tonight? In celebration of slightly cooler weather, DH and I made some Beef and Lentil soup. We had amassed a stockpile of beef bones and meat leftover from various meals and kept frozen. Added half of a HUGE rutabaga diced, half an onion, diced and a can of diced tomatoes. The grains mixture we used was Central Market Barley, Lentils and Split Peas! Having it with baguette slices which were in the freezer! It's delicious!

Glad you started this thread. I was going to when I saw you already started one. We're having baked pork chops tonight. We have a yummy pre-seasoned pork loin that I cooked in the air fryer last night. I picked up a teriyaki seasoning pork loin at Aldi yesterday. It was Aldi brand. So cheap and so good. Air fried for 15 minutes on each side at 400 degrees. Covered with foil and let rest for 5 minutes. Microwaved some remaining potatoes from a 5 pound bag for a cheap meal. We previously made potato salad to bring to a friend's house for dinner but didn't need the entire bag. It was almost like having a "free" side dish.

Picked up Thai otwh...I needed some protein bigly, so got spicy Thai orange crispy beef (crazy tender!)/veggies/cashews, sticky rice, and the Crispy Rolls (rice paper, veg, silver noodles, plum sauce) w/housemaid Thai peanut sauce on the side. Red and Paneer curry for everyone else (vegetarian on board!). Mango sticky rice for dessert, but way too full now! 🤪

I picked up Pollo a la Parrilla from Los Vega, on the way home (they make the best!).

#msg2214440brightlights : From somewhere locally? It looks and sounds delish!
#msg2214441Floyd : I love fresh (only) green beans in any form! My fav is quick-sauteed with olive oil, a couple of crushed garlic cloves, a hit of crushed red pepper, flaked salt/cracked pepper. Nom!
#msg2214446Catmae : Baan Thai on 1960...just down the street from you. Delicious!
