Who likes pastries?

eighteen : Star anise.. to me it has a heavy licorice flavor.

Every Mexican pastry I've ever had tasted like dry, stale nothing. Zero flavor. My middle used to love them when she was a kid. I think she was just intrigued by the pretty colors. 💕

brightlights : My kids love them. I decided to try some others along with them. We split them up. They're not all dry. I gave 3 or 4 out of 7 a... I couldn't tell you which ones they are either. The bread of the dead was good. I'll return for that one. It's seasonal, though. The concha cookie or whatever was decent. There was one I called a bear claw (Orejas) with chocolate tips that was ok, it's worth a 2nd chance. Another, had an apple center that was ok, it could've been sweeter. The rest were no-gos and a good hot coffee was missed on several.Oh, I completely forgot about the cinnamon roll. That wasn't too bad either.

We got the pig cookie today. I think it's gingerbread with molasses. It's good. I took photos as well.
