Good Grief

Here's a view down the same property line when I step out to the street.Hypocrisy comes to mind.

This is a view down the neighbor's other property line.Again, hypocrisy comes to mind.

I need everyone on here right now to know I just bowed my head and thank God that I was not that person's neighbor that complained about that over your houseBless his heart

And just think, over the years I incurred unexplained kills of trees and plants I planted in my back yard because they were planted close enough to the property line for someone to spray them with herbicide.

I planted the trees on the side of our property which faces the direction from which the golfers keep playing errantly from ... having incurred two broken car windshields and more than a dozem broken window panes since we moved here about 10 years ago ... I'm playing the long game with trying to grow a natural break to keep the golf balls at bay.

We harvested cedar tree seeds from a great, ancient cedar along the San Antonio River Walk about 10 years ago when we were on a weekend vacation. We germinated the seeds in a pot in our yards, which to our pleasant surprise took root. The biggest seedling was placed in our back yard after the 'unexpected demise' of two pine seedlings I had started growing to form a natural break to the wayward golfballs. That cedar was by far the biggest of the ones we had started growing. Unfortunately, it also met an unexpected early demise.

We noticed there were moving trucks at our unruly neighbors house yesterday.I'm trying to find some peace of mind now and will thus bring this to a close in expressing how I feel now. Good riddance!

The golf balls come from the neighbors house?

ginx : they come from that direction - the cedars are quite effective at knocking them down as evidence by the growing number residing beneath the cedars

When I lived there in that hood all of my neighbors were very good. One question I have is how in the hell did someone get that many constables in the hood at one time, we had to call them a few times and one may showup.
