From the internet

There are no major new public roadways being built directly through the Atascocita Golf Club, but the club itself is undergoing active on-site course improvements and range expansions.
Current Course ProjectsRenovations: The facility is actively upgrading its short game practice areas, tee boxes, and drainage systems.
Routing Changes: Ongoing construction has prompted temporary modifications to daily course rotations and cart paths (such as starting play on Hole #10 during specific phases).

@susanbanthony :
That sounds like good news for the neighborhood. Is Pinehurst a public course? I'm thinking not?

I sure hope they fix the pond or the eighth water hazard on the Pinehurst course. So much vegetation has grown in the pond that it doesn't look beautiful anymore. It's just a refuge for the egrets, turtles, and ducks. I would like to see it back to the way it used to be, just water. I'm sure the golfers would like that too.

@AMCLady : did you see the signs posted around the neighborhoid that the new housing development allegedly broke a drainage pipe which led to the water level lowering in several ponds around the area?

@OhMy :
No I didn't see the signs. I don't think I'm anywhere near where the building houses. They just don't put anything in the water to kill the vegetation. They haven't done this since the new people took over.

The homes are being built on what was originally planned to be the 4th 9 holes.

I'm sure glad they didn't sell. It really worried me because I thought all the condo stuff was over. But then you never know. I'm for anything to help neighborhood. Can't lose course or decline in neighborhood for sure
