And the police insist it's not a serial killer? I'm convinced this person is a LEO or LEO adjacent. It's possible that all the cases are unrelated, but that's too much of a coincidence.
TwinA : That thought never occurred to me, but not the craziest concept. It's always the last person you'd suspect.
eighteen : It really is! It might be a person who knows the ins and outs of how investigations are carried out, how evidence is gathered and analyzed, etc. Framing them as drownings would destroy a lot of the evidence.
Well in the 1970's Houston PD had a special location on Buffalo Bayou where some officers would take people they arrested and give them "special treatment". Dark days.
