@Wanderer : This is how my granddaughter started there. After high school, earning money for college. Ended up working her way up to manager at that store for about 3 years, while in college! This really hits in my heart.

I just found out this girl was a former Sconzo student. Now this hurts as hell. We are telling our kids to learn responsibilities and earn some money and develop skills and experience only to expose them to hostile dangers.

Yes it is called every day danger. Hell even driving down the road is considered dangerous.

@Wanderer : Yes. It's scary and very worrisome sending our loved ones out in the world. All I can do is pray.

We have to do more than pray. We need to train them to deal with these hostilities rather than blanket their outlook. I grew up being very observant of my surroundings thanks to real life experiences to watch out for dangers. Is it 100% no but we can only do the best we can.

In this case, you could never anticipate a car crashing into the building. That is what hurts so much in my mind is to know there was literally nothing the victims could have done differently.

@Pinehurst : Exactly. Sometimes it's easier to place blame. It takes the sting out of the bite. In this case, none of that exists. It was just an accident. Not an "on-purpose" - always seems a little more difficult to swallow that way.I don't know why. It just does.

Personally, I feel so extremely sad for the young adults family and I will admit I feel so extremely sad for the elderly couple that will now live with knowing that the driving skills they have took someone's life. That's really a lot to handle. I don't care how old you are to accidentally take someone else's life can really mess with your head. I do not care how old you are.I do agree I feel it was 100% an accident. I also believe all of our fates are predetermined.When it's your number, it's your number and I really believe in my heart no matter what you do it's your number.I am so sorry as a community member that this happened to all parties. My heart will go out and I will pray.
