I'm done with kroger
I placed an order Tuesday for a Wednesday pickup. In the order was a family pack of steaks, easy peasy.
Got my checkout confirmation, around 135 bucks. I went to pick it up and checked the receipt when I got home 176 bucks.
I got on the chat with them and they gave me the spiel about the prices from the Tuesday price were no longer valid and I agreed in the terms of the online ordering agreement to that pricing.
I told the assistant can wr just save us both some time and split the difference? Before the droning about the terms and conditions, if im in the store im not buying meat priced like that, get over yourself with that ****.
So told them I wont be shopping there and there were plenty of options ...
BTW I think they're the ones who scammed my mom.

That's the way HEB works too! Their specials change on Wednesday and if you do a pickup order on Tuesday night…you will not get it for that special price! It's happened to me too!

Yea prices change on Wednesday so whatever the price is at the pickup day you set is what you pay because that's when it's actually rung up. And no, it's not just Kroger.

@ginx : every Wednesday most stores come out with new ads and most will not honor Tuesday prices for Wednesday p/u; however, I feel if you paid on Tuesday and p/u Wednesday then YOU PAID ON TUESDAY!!! The end

Call Corporate I bet you win this battle if you paid on Tuesday and not on Wednesday

Thats the tricky part. I placed the order Tuesday with my credit card on file, but they didnt ring it up with the final tally on Wednesday

You don't technically "pay on Tuesday" because it's rung up the day it's shopped. Actually I don't believe it's fully processed until pickup because of substitutions, paper coupons. HEB is the same way.

Now places like Target it's processed when you order because it goes through their online system (my store does this too), so you receive the price at time of payment.

@mrst no beef with aldi's, heb and aldi's were good in the cadence, but kroger? No way!

Aldi is great for daily things. HEB online ordering you can save a lot by browsing the coupon section and buying the brands that are discounted that week.

Ah I read your lyric wrong. The thing that sucks about H-E-B pick up is they charge extra, like 3%. I know that's not a whole lot but it annoys me. 😂
And I don't know if they changed it, but they only did pick up at the Aldi in Kingwood.

30% price change from one day to the next is considerable - - seems more like a product replacement that should force an approval request, unless you provide an upfront replacement approval.
