What do you mean toped up? I am now trying to my pool some good but want to drain and redo. I still work on it every day. It is VERY OLD.

@ladybeachbum : When the water level gets too low, the pump will suck air and you will see bubbles in the water. Means you need to add water in order for your pump to not get damaged.

It is beyond that. It has not been used in years and just a pond. I guess it still is but I am trying to get it together by summer. I net it every day because I have trees that like to throw their leaves at me! One has the spiky nut looking falling and they come down to greet me every day!

I don't know why, but I never need to lower my pool water. I know it doesn't have a leak, but somehow the water evaporates. I am ready for summer time!

@Daiquiri : I have never lowered my pool water. Only when I had to drain for maintenance.

I lowered my pool in case. Now, I am thinking it might be a good time to get it redone. However, that would take a long time it seems.

@ladybeachbum: We have never had to lower our pool water level. There is an overflow pipe that drains out.

I need everything new. It has been not taken care because of the beach but I am trying to get where I will want to get in!
