Funny because we were just laughing with friends about Pancho's. There used to be a few in Baton Rouge but they are long gone. Raise the flag! lol

It's been many years since I ate there. Don't remember that it was anything special. I have read that buffets are teeming with viruses and bacteria. It's very difficult to keep foods at proper temps for safety. I avoid buffets for that reason.

susanbanthony : Not to mention the patrons that don't wash their hands before entering and are handling the utensils. I find them hard to resist, occasionally, on cruises, but I try to be careful. I wash my hands before I enter, then wash them again before I eat.

TootsieRoll : That is a memory I had forgoten but I remember we enjoyed it back in the good ole days. If it is still open and I think it is , I might drag my son over to go check it out. I'm not scared I remember the after effects though.

Nope. I tried it once and it was gross. Very gross.

Last time we went was right after Harvey. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. Sopapillas are still good.
