ROV Submersible Engineer
 Operate remotely operated vehicles (work class) for various oil companies. Subsea construction, pipeline and umbilical install, abandonment, and field surveys.
 Troubleshoot, repair, pilot, and integrate tooling on a variety of ROV systems. (XLX, XLS, Centurion, QX, UHD and HD)
 Take care of all the paperwork JSA’s, TRA’s, Maintenance Log, Sub Eng logs and permits to work.
 Electrical testing of ROV electrical systems. Test insulation of the subsea cables using a MEGGER, troubleshooting electrical issues using system schematic.
 Test fiber optics, checking for dB loss using light meter and testing the integrity of the fiber using an OTDR to check for breaks. If fiber is bad re terminate, polish and test.
 Hydraulic testing on all hydraulic circuits on vehicle using appropriate schematics, and flow meters.
