I am writing to apply for a Paralegal position within your firm. I found your name on the website Kingwoodjobs.com and thought it would be a good idea to reach out. After graduating from LSU with a BSC in Psychology in 2009, I went to the University of Houston Continuing Education Paralegal Program. The coursework and experience I have gained since joining the workforce have given me the skills I need to compete. For the last 2 years, I have been working at Shrader & Associates, LLP as their medical paralegal.

As you can tell from my resume, I have progressed with my skills related to Intellectual Property Law and Personal Injury. I would love to learn different aspects of law. I am a very fast learner and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In my Paralegal Program, I was taught many aspects of the law and know how to write complaints, legal memoranda and file pleadings, etc.

I am proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. I am also skilled in IP Master, Needles, Lexis Nexis (for research and depositing documents), and IPDas.
