I am writing to express my interest in your company. I recently graduated from Southern University and A&M College
with a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. Throughout my college career, I have achieved and excelled in many of my
endeavors. I am a great analyzer, well-rounded team player, and a firm believer in perseverance. I possess the
professional as well as interpersonal skills necessary to succeed.

In April 2013, I was granted the opportunity to be a Host Committee Participant at the 2013 Opportunity Funding
Corporation (OFC) Innovation & Entrepreneurship Conference in Atlanta, GA. As a Host Committee Participant, I
organized an annual six-figure business plan competition along with other students. The environment was very strict & fast
paced and required true professionalism. This was my first experience in a corporate setting and I exceeded the
expectations, which proves I have the ability to adapt quickly. In addition, this event required me to take the initiative.
There were circumstances where my great analytical skills came in handy and ultimately saved the day.

My past experiences in retail have definitely molded me into the person I am today. Due to being employed at VF Outlet
and Academy Sports & Outdoor, not only do I love people but I work very well with them also. I can certainly say the
number one thing I have attained from working in retail is the ability to work successfully with others. Rather it be with
customers or coworkers, my relationship building skills are exceptional.

In college, I was an active member of the following organizations: Beta Gamma Sigma--International Honor Society for Business Students; Pi Sigma Epsilon--Professional Business Fraternity concentrating in Marketing, Management, & Sales; Society of Human Resource Management International Organization for Human Resources.
