We are currently accepting applications for the position of Pre-K Lead Teacher. The Lead Teacher is responsible for planning and implementing an ongoing program of activities that promote the social, emotional, cognitive and physical development of each child, in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® approach to teaching and learning.

Candidates for Pre-K Lead Teacher must have a degree in Early Childhood Education or a Texas Alternative Teaching Certificate. The ideal candidate also has at least two years of experience as a lead or assistant in a licensed child care center and is familiar with Texas Child Care Licensing Minimum Standards. Candidates must meet all state requirements for classroom teaching positions, must maintain state and company in-service requirements, and must be physically able to interact with children on a day to day basis (stoop and bend, lift up to 35 pounds, etc.). Certifications in Child/Infant CPR and First Aid, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and fingerprint-based background checks are required.
