My daughter has been given an additional 15 hours of care by the state through the Texas Home Living program. We are interviewing for this position.

Job description:
>Responsibilities - Work with Patron on the Life Skills of Getting Dressed, Brushing Teeth/Hair, preparing her breakfast, packing lunch, getting on bus on time, reading time in the morning, and assorted chores. The employee is not expected to be a housekeeper, but an aide in teaching the patron how to do these activities for herself.
>Location: Home in the Summerwood/Atascocita Area off Beltway 8 and West Lake Houston Pkwy


Ideal candidates would include those with home health care experience, social work experience or planning to major in Special Education or Social Work.

Skills Required:

>Must be able to Speak, Read and Write in English. The will be working with her in these areas and she does not speak any other languages fluently.
>If they are not a US citizen, they must have a work visa or green card that allows them to be employed by the state of Texas.

Contract - Part Time

Compensation:

>Hours. School days from 6 am - 9 am = 15 hrs/week
Extended School holidays (Christmas, Spring Break, Etc) would change the times and
number of days/ to be negotiated.
>Pay: $10/hr
