Program: An Evening with Wyman Meinzer

Enter the untamed world of Texas with Wyman Meinzer, the state’s only official State Photographer, whose arresting images reveal the grandeur of its landscapes, the mystery of its wildlife, and the traditions rooted in its soil.

In this special program, Wyman brings those images to life with firsthand stories of patience, ingenuity, risk, and adventure in the field. Discover how a lifetime outdoors has shaped his vision—and how a single frame can preserve natural history, cultural memory, and a powerful personal connection to the land. More than a presentation, this evening is an invitation to slow down, look closer, and experience Texas through the eyes of a master who has devoted his life to understanding it.
