FREE Family Event: 53rd Kingwood 4th of July Parade
Sponsored by: Kingwood Civic Club & Kingwood Rotary Club
2026 Parade Grand Marshal: Branches of our U.S.A. Military
Date: July 4th (Rain or Shine)
Parade starts at: 10 AM (Parade Route street closures start at 9 AM by Houston Police Dept)
Parade Route: (Houston Police Dept will close our parade route at 9 AM)
• Starts at Creekwood Middle School, 603 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood, 77339
• Ends at: Kingwood High School, 2701 Kingwood Dr, Kingwood, 77339
Attendance: 12,000+ attendees (per City of Houston Police Department which provides our parade security)
Bring: Lawn chairs, picnic blankets, sunblock, cooler with water and non-alcoholic beverages
Float/Vehicle Sponsorships Available:
Promote your business to 12,000+ attendees lining the parade route by having a float/trailer, company or personal vehicle, or walking in the parade. The Kingwood Civic Club is a 501(c)(3) organization and funds will be used to support local organizations and events. All parade float participants and sponsors must register and complete an application. Parade Participants using a vehicle or float are required to supply a copy of auto insurance with application. FREE Kids Events on July 4th:
• Fishing Rodeo: Foster Mill ponds at 7 AM – 8:30 AM (corner of Kingwood Drive & Forest Garden Drive)
• Kids Bike Rodeo Decorating Contest: 9 AM in the parking lot of the Kingwood Bible Church (3610 W Lake Houston Pkwy, Kingwood) across from Creekwood Middle School. After judging is over, we’ll have a special section in the parade for the children to ride their bikes in the Parade (parents must accompany their children in the parade.)
