Do you want to earn some volunteer hours? Then you should consider joining VolunTEENs!

This is a volunteer commitment where teens ages 13-18 spend two hours each week shelving materials, shelf reading the collection, preparing simple crafts, and doing other assorted tasks. To qualify, teens must be able to file alphabetically, work independently and follow written and verbal instructions with a minimum of direction. VolunTEENs will need to be capable of bending, stooping, stretching, and lifting boxes weighing up to 20 pounds and pushing fully loaded book carts weighing up to 40 pounds. All new VolunTEENs are required to complete the appropriate application and attend the mandatory orientation.

Important Dates:

Monday, July 24th @ 11 am: Application is available for pickup.
Saturday, August 19th @ 5 pm: Application due date. Late applications are not accepted.
Saturday, August 26th @ 11 am: Date and time of the MANDATORY orientation.
August 28th - December 8th: Fall VolunTEEN session
