First Saturday each month

Birders and hikers of all skill levels are invited to join park naturalists and volunteers for a closer look at the wildlife in Jones Park on a leisurely stroll. Help survey birds in the park using the eBird app; data collected is used by Houston Audubon. Participants can earn volunteer service hours for community organizations and Texas Master Naturalists. Wear closed-toed shoes and bring a reusable water bottle and binoculars. Ages 10+. Meet in front of the nature center.
