Second Saturday Settlers: Leatherworks Event Details:
Leather was an important resource to Texas settlers. Stop by the nature center between 10 am and 12 pm to learn about how people have used leather in the past. Make your own craft that you can take home, too. Then venture to the Redbud Hill Homestead for a self-guided tour of the 1830s replica homestead. Great for Scouts. All ages.
