Atascocita High School's UIL One-Act Play, The Miser, competed at the Region III-AAAAA One-Act Play Competition and not only advanced but also received five individual acting awards and one technical award.
The show will now compete in the State Championship Saturday, May 16 at Hogg Auditorium on the University of Texas at Austin campus.
