Presented by Administaff, and benefiting the Humble ISD Education Foundation, the 2008 Charity Golf Tournament was a huge success. The tournament, held at The Clubs of Kingwood, teed-off on both the Forest and Marsh Course on Tuesday, November 4. This year’s tournament included fun interactions with Larry “The One-Armed Bandit” Alford, and was capped off with a wonderful buffet dinner prepared by Amedeo’s Italian Restaurant, presentation of awards to the winners, and an exciting live and silent auction. The Foundation extends their deepest gratitude to all of the amazing volunteers and the entire Tournament Committee who worked tirelessly. The money raised during this year’s tournament will be used to help fund educational enrichment opportunities for Humble ISD students through the Humble ISD Education Foundation Innovative Grants Program (for more information on the Foundation visit www.humbleisdfoundation.org)
Tournament winners playing on the Marsh course were Huberty-Shank-Byers-Shiflet from the Dan Huberty team who placed 1st Gross; individual team members of Wesolowski-Trefz-Hodges-Peak placed 2nd Gross; Trahan-Denning-Landry-Stunja from the Re/Max Associates Northeast team placed 3rd Gross. Marsh course net winners were CenterPoint Energy team of Snyder-Henke-Middleton-Diaz who placed first; Brown & Gay Engineers team of Claytor-Lavey-Fitzgerald-Zabaneh placed second; and Embarq team of Mundt-Kistler-Nichols-Richardson placed third. Closest to the Pin on the Marsh Course was awarded to Murphy Trahan, and Longest Drive went to Kerry Rogers.
Tournament winners playing on the Forest course were Purcell-Ashworth-Ortego-Purcell from the Purcell Construction team who placed 1st Net.
Roseman-Martin-Calane-Darlow from Perdue Brandon Collins Fielder and Mott team placed 2nd Net; McDermott-Goss-Leslie-Funderburk from the Kiva Construction & Engineering team placed 3rd Net. Gross score winners on the Forest course were Adminstaff team of Walker-Gould-Parrott-Peterson who placed first; National Energy & Trade team of Lopez-Gorrell-Polk placed second; and Fugro team of Sulski-Marr-Daniels-Duhon placed third. Closest to the Pin on the Forest Course was awarded to Chip Woodward, and Longest Drive went to David Ortego.
