If you have the opportunity to take advantage of “Early Voting” remember that you must do so by Friday, October 31^st.   The high interest level in this Presidential campaign is drawing record numbers of early voters.  Election Day turn out is expected to also break records in voter participation. 

There are two locations locally where residents can cast their votes early: 

·                     Humble ISD Instructional Support Center, 4810 Magnolia Cove, Kingwood

·                     Octavia Fields Branch Library Annex, 1503 South Houston Avenue, Humble

But if you prefer to wait until Election Day on Tuesday, November 4^th be prepared to bring your patience along with your voter’s registration card.  Check out the Harris County Clerk’s Office Election Information Website to locate your polling location for Election Day.  Simply go to http://www.harrisvotes.com/ and enter your address in the “Find Your Voting Information”. 

When you do head out to the polls, here are a few things to remember.

• Bring your identification documents with you (driver’s license, government issued photo ID, bank statement or utility bill).
• Bring your voter’s registration card, but don’t panic if you can’t find it.  If you are registered you do NOT need your voter registration card to vote. Each poll location has a list of eligible voters for that location.
• If records indicate you have moved, you can still vote by signing an address confirmation form.
• Bring your patience.  The polls will be crowded; democracy in action requires patience.
