Will’s Kids, a local nonprofit organization that reaches out to kids in need, has been named as one of two beneficiaries for the second annual Parkway Family Gala and Charity Auction to be held April 8th. The benefit is hosted by Parkway Family Mazda-Kia, and will also benefit the EMS Benefit Fund of Montgomery County.
"Last year’s event was a huge success for this community and raised over $30,000," said Heather Oglesby, director of special events for Parkway Family Mazda-Kia. "The two organizations chosen this year were selected based on their heart-felt dedication to our community, and we expect it to be a great success!"
The Gala will be held at Parkway Family Mazda-Kia in Kingwood, and will feature fabulous food, great fun, and live entertainment for those attending. The highlight of the evening will be the live and silent auctions, featuring one-of-a-kind items and terrific services from area and regional businesses.
"The Gala is rapidly becoming a first-class "go-to" event in our community," says Janet Hayes, executive director of Will’s Kids, "and we are delighted to be a part of it! This year’s extravaganza is one you won’t want to miss!"
Event sponsorships are still available, and auction items are needed. Those wishing to donate should contact Diane Trautman, event coordinator for Will’s Kids, at 713-417-4235 or by email at [email protected]. For ticket information, contact Heather at Parkway Family Mazda-Kia at 281-242-8211.
