@MooMaw: what position did you hold?

@Rosey : Lol…little of everything. I started in the Control Center. That was before computers so we dispatched lineman and splicers using plats and using markers when cable was placed. I went to splicing school but as technology developed I stayed in the office working with repair, air pressure and eventually moving to engineering. SWB turned into ATT and I retired after 35 years. The company provided well for me.

@MooMaw: that is quite a career!I worked part time as a LD operator while attending college. Then moved and was unable to transfer as they were getting rid of operators. I was offered a position in management as soon as I completed a college degree but had no interest as my heart was in teaching.

@MooMaw : I can't think of anything. I'm boring. Not anything shocking anyway. 😁But I'm still thinking!

I got a big award this year and haven't told you guys yet because I downplay my accomplishments a lot

@Rosey : My Dad worked as a Lineman for Western Electric and then for Illinois Bell and worked for them for 35 . Ended his career retiring as Illinois Finance manager for them.

@MooMaw : Okay…I thought of one. I've been to where Nicole Simpson and Ronald Goldman were murdered. I'm ashamed to say. We were traveling with friends and this is something they wanted to visit. My dh and I…didn't want to but we never said anything to them. We kinda of dropped hints but never came out and told them. I was there about a minute. You could feel the sadness there. I hate thinking about it.
