Timberwood Seeking Electronic Sign

Timberwood Middle School launched a campaign to fund an electronic marquee sign which would allow for better communication with parents.

The Booster Club presented principal Kenneth buck with a $10,000 check but the school will still need to raise another $8,000 to reach their goals.

Dang. I don't really ever read the ones
At our schools. Most schools do have them though. Mostly used for fun raisers lol. You know happy birthday too. But really ? 18000 to do something that email , websites, news letters texts and memos can't do ? Not ragging on TMS like I said almost everyone has them. Seems like district wide that money could be spent on something more important. Heck. HHS just got a second one. Anyway. Carry on. Good luck.

Everyone always says don't text and drive but then the actual government is always TEXTING me while I'm driving which is basically what these signs are. But, yes, anyways I wish them well with this.

You are supposed to be watching the road while driving, especially in a school zone where all those parents park in the street. Now they want to put a sign up to distract the drivers.
