[quote-tag-mismatch][quote-tag-mismatch][quote-tag-mismatch][quote-tag-mismatch]I don't know how old yours are but every night you could do a different subdivision & look at lights. Make sure you have the Christmas music playing . Make fudge & cookies for Christmas & let them help .You could take them to the old folks home & visit with some of the forgotten people there .I'm sure you could find out who seldom has a visitor & bring that person cookies . Ask them what Christmas was like for them in their youth .Ask them how our world is different today then when they were kids . Make a list of questions before you go & each person ask at least 1 question . You could polish finger nails on the ladies .[quote-end-tag-mismatch]

...what a wonderful idea! This brought tears to my eyes...I have a brother who has Dementia in a nursing home in East Texas and I cannot be with him as I like. He has no other family than my self and another brother. I would like to think someone would be so thoughtful for a friendly Christmas hello.[
@MooMaw:
Back when I was a Girl Scout, and in High School, we used to go to the nursing homes and sing to the people living there, and just visit. It was such a "feel good" thing to do. We would also go to the VFW hospital in San Francisco and serve coffee and sandwiches and just spend time with the Veterans. I'm so glad I was in Girl Scouts, which gave me opportunities to do good things with my time, and it made me a better person. This is why I am putting my kids in scouts.

@MooMaw:
We had a music teacher at school that every year we would go to the nursing home & spend an hr or so singing & talking with the people there . We each year put on a Christmas program for the school so we really were pretty good , they loved us coming to sing for them .
