the island - establishing new relations, embassies opening, some sanctions removed, etc. Open for personal travel. like I said , about time.

Who does this help? and does anyone know why there has been sanctions for over 50 years?

I am not sure how this helps anyone except the murderous, Communist Government of Cuba (Castro Family). I think the Cuban exiles and their families in the US have the most credible perspective...they don't seem to agree with the President.
