Oh great & young children are told go sit on Santa's lap . I guess when I was a kid parents never thought of something like this . I never thought of this when my kids were little .

I took a training on protecting children and Santa is one of the jobs that is most likely to attract perverts. Sad.My kids think it is weird that I pay money to have a picture made of them sitting on a strangers lap. It really is when you think about it.

Now you guys are making me wonder and have second thoughts.

I wonder if the major stores and malls require background checks. That would only weed out the pedophiles that have been caught and prosecuted, though. The kids can just stand there and talk to him without bodily contact. There is no harm in that.

All I know is that I am there and if these Santas act up then they will see the better end of my fist.

The law is for law breakers. If you know the guy is a sex offender, don't visit him. Warn others not to visit that Santa.
