 Peter Marules, owner of Lakonia Imports, and his wife Janell Marules decided to take their love for great food and wine and start their own winery, JMP Wines.Whether they are exploring international wines from Greece, Spain, Argentina, etc. or domestic wines from California, Oregon, and their home state of Texas, they want to share their finds with you. Peter and Janell invite you to join them at their newly renovated tasting room located in Humble, Texas. Each wine tasting event features different wines and food tasting experiences featuring domestic and/or international wines paired with food catered by local caterers and restaurants. There is a special word in Greek, Philoxenia, which means stranger to friend. We hope all who enter our door as strangers, leave as friends. Selling our wines by the case offers the most savings to our customers. Bottles are only available when cases are opened for a wine tasting event. |

The two varieties blend in an elegant and harmonious combination. |  2019 Earl 17 Sauvignon Blanc The 2019 Earl 17 Sauvignon Blanc displays a subtly tropical profile of papaya and guava, following to more complex notes of fresh linens, beeswax, lime zest and Anjou pear. A few years of bottle age have developed a soft, plush texture that lends just the right amount of weight to nervy flavors of quince jam, tangerine, blanched almond, and grapefruit. What begins as a gentle thread of acid builds energy, carrying through the long, delicious finish. |
