After dealing with the aftermath of Hurricane Harvey, many are planning to head to Yama S Fusion Sushi’s live DJ night on Friday night.

So many who have survived the flood waters and entertained themselves without electricity or have returned home to start the cleanup process are looking forward to a night out, enjoying all kinds of music with DJ Kevin at the local modern Japanese Fusion restaurant.

Starting at 9 pm until the restaurant’s close, the crowd can experience a new level of nightlife in Kingwood. Every DJ night is a new experience, with guests requesting all types of music to be played, including mainstream, trance, techno, house, country, Hispanic and many other kinds of music.

“My friends and I love hanging out and dancing at the restaurant’s DJ night,” says Jason Livingston. “The place has a definite east coast upscale vibe and DJ Kevin and Chef Oka Yama make this dance party experience one that makes you want to go back and back again, just to see what happens.”

Chef Oka Yama doesn’t just bring the party to life every Friday night. He’s also a culinary artist with over 30 year of experience as a Master Kitchen Chef, creating dishes that are as stimulating to view as they are to consume. He has perfected a new style of Hibachi which fuses a multitude of eastern sauces and has enabled guests to rethink their notions about sushi.

“My wife and I wanted to try something new,” says Brandon King. “We have had sushi before … but, this is an entirely different experience. I personally have not ever had better sushi!! Try the Japanese Lasagna … you won’t be disappointed!”

In addition to the upbeat music at the live DJ night, guests can devour anything from the full menu selection that includes Sushi, Hibachi and Asian food.

“I love the lounge environment at DJ night,” says Bryan Kempy. “When I’m in the mood for some late night dining, Yama S really satisfies me.”

Guests can also order beer, wine and other cocktail beverages, including a sake martini, at the fully stocked bar.

“I have such a good time at DJ Night with my girlfriends,” says local Kingwood resident Sharon Lee. “But, I also love their takeout service. After a long, hectic day of work, I enjoy ordering their signature rolls and hibachi dishes. They deliver fast, dishes are hot and the food is amazingly satisfying.”

The restaurant offers free delivery service within 8 miles of the restaurant and with a minimum $15 purchase. Deliveries are also made to further out locations with a $50 minimum purchase. The restaurant also offers 5% off any pick-up order, as well a daily lunch special and hibachi featuring certified Angus beef and the highest level of ingredients.
