Owner of Thrive Nutrition.

Tell us a bit about your business: What does your business offer, and how long have you been around?
Thrive Nutrition (formerly Vitamins & Such) has been at the Kingwood Dr. location since 1999. We offer quality supplements at affordable prices.

How did you decide to get involved in this line of work? How did the business get started?
I started this business initially as a website offering health advice. The demand from my customers to sell the products I talk about led to a brick-and-mortar location in Kingwood. We have since opened another location in Meyerland.

Tell us a couple things you are proud of about your business. What are you known for? What separates you from the competition?
We are very proud of the service we provide, the knowledge we bring to our customers, our research and our commitment to the community. We are known for our knowledge and service. We are totally committed to carrying only the best of supplements. We intensely research what we put on our shelves.

What is your favorite part of running this business?
My favorite part of running my business is working with my customers to help them take the necessary steps to achieve optimum health.

Who is your ideal customer/client? Who do you serve best?
Everybody is our ideal customer. There is no one who won’t benefit from a visit to my store and taking the first step toward health.

Can you tell us something about yourself as the business owner? What is your background?
My family, my business, my success in life comes from dedication and passion. Staying focused and driven to achieve and go after what is right no matter what the odds or challenges. I think in business today such as in life it's what you make of it.

Are there any special promotions, annual sales, or special events that you'd like to mention?

We have an excellent loyalty program. We also have daily discounts, sales and promotions.

Is there any other information you'd like your potential customers/clients to know about your business?

How do you see your business growing and improving over the next couple of years?
We would like to open a couple of other locations. We would also like to offer classes for our customers on health issues.
