@Thatguywhodraws : I'm the same way, no talking to panhandlers. We have places for them to eat and sleep in Chicago, for free so any of them out begging are using for alcohol and drugs. My friend was a WH Chef years ago and he feeds them on the daily, so they eat better than most people.

@Floyd : OMG I got approached once when I was somewhere off BW8 and Uvalde, by this gay guy asking me for gas money. I said I don't have any cash. Then he said come on I only need enough to get me to BAYTOWN!! I said doesn't change the fact that I still don't have cash. Then he called me a ***** and walked away still fussing. I don't know about our area, but I've heard the homeless have become increasingly brazen in the big city areas that are still shut down. It's tough to get a handout when hardly anyone passes by, and most who do aren't willing to interact with strangers.

After living in NYC for a year, you always carry a 20 in case you get robbed. But I do not like panhandlers!
