I don't know you but you must know me because I'm a LEO and what you just said about unarmed black people being shot by LEO's is and has been found out to be untrue. U of Michigan and U of Maryland did a study about LEO shootings and there are so little of those type of shooting they can't even come up with statistics about them. Here's some advice stop watching tv and read a study. Also unless one of your children have died or spouse has please don't say you understand in anyway. You have no idea of the pain
@Satan : You are right, I don't know the pain. And you didn't read my entire statement...I clearly said "There are a lot of blacks who are more upset when someone is shot by the police, and I can say that I'm not."
Thanks for sharing those studies but they are specific to officer race, which I didn't mention. Neither of those studies pointed to the feelings of my family. I provided a specific example from my family and an example of the narrative in the black community whenever there's a shooting and the uproar that happens. Just like there's an uproar whenever someone is killed by an illegal. Just like you said I don't understand, you will not understand the loss some feel when they lose a kid or spouse while being unarmed. Nor do I because it hasn't happened to me.
My point is...it hurts anytime a family member is killed, dies from natural causes, or commits suicide. Unless there's a specific study that shows it hurts more when someone is killed by an illegal than an American citizen or when someone dies because of a natural cause. Then I'll have to take your word because you experienced a loss of a spouse or child at the hands of an illegal.
I'm sorry for your loss. And I hope that no one has the feeling of losing a kid or spouse to an illegal or to anyone for that matter. Thanks for all your do as an LEO.
