@Weathergirl5 : But then you can't even use a church key on the other side to make it pop out after you get that side open!! This has been really eating at me since the change up LOL!

@chasinghosts : I know. At first I thought the first few cans were a mistake or defective. Then I realized they just changed the cans (and label). And the person that designed it was drunk!

@Weathergirl5 : Me too LOL!. My sister doesn't like them so she just blew me off when I asked her opinion on it.

MrsT : Yes, we like whole beans, ground (obviously not an option in an outage w/o a generator, but any ground coffee suitable for a coffee maker is fine. Not instant). We have this one: Not any more difficult or time consuming than brewing a pot of coffee (other than having to heat water and press down the top a few times during the drip process...I just heat the water in a tea kettle on the stovetop...omg, I just sounded like my mother! 😀). It just tastes so clean and pure!

@brightlights : I never owned one, but I sure do miss my old percolator. I don't even have a tea kettle anymore.

We've had this can opener for almost 20 years now. It's easy to use when you travel or when your electric one breaks. Hubs bought for like $2.

@TXNS_fan : I can't get it to work. Guess it's me.

chasinghosts : I am sooo laughing !

@bbk : I've broken at least 4 of them, my husband says I don't know my own strength. Even had one from Ikea that's not supposed to be breakable LOL!

Never had beanie weeny casserole

@Weathergirl5 : It was basically cut up hot dogs (he used the fancy kind...maybe smoked sausage...I was probably outside on the desk with a much needed glass of wibe, so idk...you take what you get 😂), pork & beans (from a huge can), shredded cheddar, and he doctored it up with all kinds of crap. Tossed in the oven for 30 minutes until bubbly. Voila! Kid crack! 😂

He doesn't cook (bbq king, tho). I should hit him up again! ðŸĪŠ

Hubs mowed the yard today. We have enough beer to last us a week, so we're good. If it pours they might let us work from home, which is a bonus.
