MrsT : Yes, we like whole beans, ground (obviously not an option in an outage w/o a generator, but any ground coffee suitable for a coffee maker is fine. Not instant). We have this one: Not any more difficult or time consuming than brewing a pot of coffee (other than having to heat water and press down the top a few times during the drip process...I just heat the water in a tea kettle on the stovetop...omg, I just sounded like my mother! 😀). It just tastes so clean and pure!
@brightlights : I never owned one, but I sure do miss my old percolator. I don't even have a tea kettle anymore.
..I used to make those as an easy meal! Ahhh the memories
@Weathergirl5 : DH used to make his famous...no...sophomore year in college doesn't count as famous beenie weenie casserole when the kids were little. They tore that shniz up! Hey, it was a night off for me! I remember a lot of yellow mustard in the bbq sauce. 😂
@Weathergirl5 : It was basically cut up hot dogs (he used the fancy kind...maybe smoked sausage...I was probably outside on the desk with a much needed glass of wibe, so idk...you take what you get 😂), pork & beans (from a huge can), shredded cheddar, and he doctored it up with all kinds of crap. Tossed in the oven for 30 minutes until bubbly. Voila! Kid crack! 😂
He doesn't cook (bbq king, tho). I should hit him up again! 🤪
