Suspect Arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon

On November 17, 2022, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 7300 block of Fox Scene Drive in reference to a disturbance. Upon arriving, the suspect involved was detained and identified as Obie Armstead.

Further investigation revealed he brandished a rifle and pointed it at the complainant during a verbal altercation. The complainant was able to run out of the residence and call 911 for assistance.

"Obie Armstead was arrested and booked into the Harris County jail, charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. His bond was set at $30,000.00 out of the 208th District Court." - Constable Mark Herman

That's not a very hard bond for an aggravated assault with a weapon. At least he's off the street a little bit

Do these people not know that even if you point the gun at someone to act tough with no intention of actually using it that there is a huge risk of it going off when in the hands of a rookie. Then you're fed up **** creek. Not to mention the probability of you getting shot is higher. So tired of these dodos.
