Suspicious Vehicle Stop Leads to Arrest of Suspect with 16 Active Warrants
On September 13, 2022, a deputy with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 7400 block of Deloache Ave. The driver was identified as Brittany Gardner, who showed to have a total of 16 open Misdemeanor Warrants.
During the traffic stop, it was also discovered that the temporary tag on her vehicle was showing to be stolen. Further investigation revealed the vehicle itself was not stolen and the dealer was issuing the same tag to multiple vehicles.
The investigation into the dealership issuing the plates will continue" for possible criminal charges.
