2 Men Arrested, Charged with Murder of Precinct 3 Deputy Omar Ursin

A day after the funeral of Precinct 3 Constable Deputy Omar Ursin Harris County Investigators have charged two suspects with his murder.

Ashim Taylor Jr (12-2-01) and Jayland Womack (3-8-02) have been arrested for Murder and are being booked in the Harris County Jail.

In photos below, Taylor is wearing a dark hoodie and Womack is wearing a light blue shirt.

It appears both males were out on bond stemming from separate Capital Murder cases.

@AMCLady : Maybe one already had an ankle monitor. I heard them mention about 1 but not sure if he was wearing it before or after they caught him the second time.

@dac2010 : you know they just mentioned that on channel 2 news. One of them wore an ankle monitor at the time of the shooting. And that's how they say they found the killers.

They both had ankle monitors and they were actually both pinging at the time of the murder. Got a high bond now. Hope they can't get out.

@dac2010 : Other than they're thugs out on bond; (obvious) but not yet. They're young so something to validate their maliciousness is all I can make out of it. So sad for this family man that was in the wrong place @ the wrong time. It could've been any of us..
