Note to self, find out how much a row boat big enough to hold my two big dogs, son and me. Dh will be somewhere else working.

@ladybeachbum : I've always wanted to take up kayaking. Maybe I'll give it a go and get one. Only problem is that I have no place to store it. I would love to get a hold of the home designer/architect and ask, "What on earth were you thinking making a garage that small?!!" And in Texas, no less!!

@RajunCajun : Maybe you could do a pully thing for it? I do understand about the garage. We loved a home on the lake but the garage wasn't big enough to get two cars and anything else. So we didn't buy it and bought a home with a 3 car garage. Still can't get a car in that sucker.

@RajunCajun : All my kayak friends hang theirs from the garage ceiling. One forever bachelor friend hangs his from his den ceiling.

@Reese : Now that's a new twist on home decorating. Yeah, we've talked about getting kayaks and that if we did we would hang them from the ceiling of the garage. That's really the only place that we could store them. I kind of think kayaking would be cool but dh isn't all that worked up about it. Probably because the reality is that he knows that I'm not athletic. I'd probably end up having to be towed back in by him. lol.

@ladybeachbum : Yeah, if anything would have killed the sale of this house to us, it would have been the garage. But everything else about the house was perfect so we realized that we can't have everything and that we would just deal with the stupid garage.
