Does anyone remember a place in Kingwood where you could take your kids on Friday evening where they painted a ceramic piece of their choice, ate pizza and watched a movie? It was great and was a safe and fun environment located in Town Square, near the loop.
That was over 20 years ago.

@Reese : I remember!
I think my oldest did that.
I remember also when the YMCA had dances on Friday nights once a month I believe.
It was a place for the Jr. High kids go hang out.

@Weathergirl5 : I used to treat our girls to a new art kit at the beginning of summer every year. I would take them to Hobby Lobby and let them pick ONE kit. It kept them busy for a few days. And I had to listen to them complain for the rest of the summer about how bored they were. lol.

@RajunCajun : LOL I remember growing up my mom used to give us chores to do when we said we were bored during the summer! I learned fast not to say I was bored.

@Weathergirl5 : Yeah. My mother would say, "Complain one more time about being bored and I'm going to find something for you to do, and you aren't going to like it." lol. Yeah, I got out of her hair and found something to do. lol.
