I use gift bags for most gifts. I do like to wrap some things, though.

@Weathergirl5 : I had a high school gig working in a department store and during Christmas I was the wrapping machine! I can wrap them but usually use bags for my own!

@RajunCajun : Me too! Ever since the gift bag and tissue paper idea came around I have been sold. I usually go to the dollar store and stock up on several gift bags and tissue paper.

@ladybeachbum : I remember back in the day when you used to go to nice department stores and they would offer free gift wrapping. They always look so pretty and beautiful.

@Weathergirl5 : now the best that you can hope for is at Bed, Bath & Beyond where they give you a gift bag & tissue paper and tell you to "wrap" it yourself. Thing is, stores can't find anyone to wrap. I went on an interview years ago at Williams Sonoma and was told that I had to wrap gifts as part of the job. It was a group interview (pretty weird) and not one of us was comfortable with gift wrapping. It was because no one was comfortable with wrapping a customer's gifts. Not one person felt that they could adequately wrap a gift. Pretty hilarious when you think about it. It isn't brain surgery but . . .

@RajunCajun : Lol well I'm sure you would get those very particular customers that wanted things wrapped a certain way. Some people you just can't please. HEB used to have group interviews back in the day. I went on a few. I wonder if they still do. It was always we are going on a group interview but not as stressful as a one on one interview.

@Weathergirl5 : I was actually offered the job. I did not accept it because I received a better job offer at the same time that I got the Williams Sonoma offer AND the other job didn't require me to wrap presents. ROFLMAO. (I have no artistic ability and there was no way that I could have made a customer happy. lol.)

@RajunCajun : I am with you! I am a horrible wrapper and I would be embarrassed to wrap a gift for a customer.
