Suspect arrested for assault in Humble

On November 11, 2021, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office responded to the 13000 block of Sierra National Drive in reference to an assault call.

Upon deputies arriving, the victim stated that he was getting lunch from a food truck when an unknown suspect approached him and assaulted him, causing pain and injury. The victim stated that this was a random act of violence against him.

Constable Deputies located the male suspect nearby and was identified as Raymond Bell.

Messing with a guy while trying to get food, not a good thing. Looking forward to lunch time

All of this stuff is just unreal. Wondering if they can charge him with hate crime/racially motivated attack? Thinking most of the construction workers are Latino, and he appears to be white. Or maybe he is an equal opportunity creep and it was just right place/right time. I can't begin to understand the mentality of attacking some person just for the heck of it.
