White Water Cowboys (WWC) already registered and looking forward to it. It's our favorite cook-off of the year. Can't wait to see our regular ADCers out there. ❤️

@babypineapple : Click on the to volunteer link in the OP and look for judging. It's hard work but rewarding. Plenty of opportunities to to volunteer in many different areas at the bbq and rodeo. I spend about 14 days on site during the event, love to meet some of y'all…..

@Smokeybear : I wish I was in better health and could take those cold nights up there. We may visit you this year if we go to a friend's party.

We have never been to the cook-off. Been to the rodeo several times, but not the cookoff. Is it worth it? How does it work?

@niceguy : You pay at the gate and walk around, eat at the community tent, which is usually good and look at other people having fun. You can watch the bands too if you're there when they are playing. Unless you know someone with a tent, then you can go in and have fun with them. We know people from Texan so usually get an invitation from them. Not sure about this year.

@niceguy : Not sure what all is happening this year but usually vendors to shop, a carnival for the kids and bbq and beer to purchase unless you know someone on a cook team where you can eat and drink for free. 😜Not sure what the gate fee is yet.

@JC1965 : The cook off is one weekend and the rodeo is the following weekend. Yes you can purchase barbecue and drinks but it's best to know someone with a cook team.
