In an effort to reduce Domestic Violence recidivism, break the cycle of violence, and reduce further harm to potential domestic violence victims, Constable Mark Herman has added a third Domestic Violence Investigator assigned to patrol.
"Patrol units respond to domestic violence calls on a daily basis. Our Domestic Violence Investigators aid and assist victims and Patrol Deputies in filing criminal charges and getting victims of domestic violence help." -Constable Mark Herman
Investigator M. Georgieva is assigned to evening shift/ weekend patrol when Domestic Violence call volume is at its highest. Investigator M. Georgieva will respond to domestic violence calls directly to evaluate and investigate for effective handling of the case and to aid victims and their families with timely victim assistance.
