@hutch5801 : I do the same, a friend was with me and thought it was hilarious that Visa called me and said my mom told them she couldn't pay anybody on the phone or give them any info on the phone till they or she checked with me first, he said all he was trying to do was save her $35 for a late payment as she was late on her CC bill for the month, I told him I'd call her and approve it, he totally understood.
Yes, a lot of theft from the elderly....But where's the Pet Products companies, Medical supply and pharmaceutical companies, "Do-It-All Home repair services" companies, Televangelists, etc.?..Need to throw them all in there too...
